Attar, natural perfume
Attar are natural perfumes, made by carefully distilling botanicals in copper stills to extract their essential oils.
The tradition of attar originated in Persia, and was brought to India by the Mughal’s in the 16th century.
Please note, these are extremely concentrated natural oils- Not essential oils mixed into a carrier oil, therefore are very potent and long lasting.
May be used as perfume on the wrists and pulses, or transferred to a rose water bottle for dispensing.
I have a long relationship with these perfumers, who are a third generation family in the business. The attar selected are the traditional scents most popular in this part of Rajasthan….
