Divine antique brass tikka tins!

These beauties are old and rare collectible pieces, very heavy and solid, with a floral shape, and a swivel lid revealing multiple compartments.

Tikka or tilak, is the name of the sacred mark made on the forehead in Hindu tradition, to help spiritual awakening and connection to the divine. The small sections of this tin would have contained ash, and sandalwood paste, among other things, traditionally used to make the tikka.
