Beautiful antique Indian hanging lota.
This is a small lota with a deep aged brass patina, ornate handle and beautiful heavy hanging chain and hook.
Approx 11cm vessel, 27cm chain.
A lota is traditionally used in Indian puja (blessing) rituals to store the sacred water.
In our modern lives, this makes a lovely decorative piece, or to hang flowers or plants.
