Antique brass snuff tin

A striking oval shaped, antique brass snuff tin, with decorative moulded motifs front and back.

Like many antique tins, this piece is opened and closed by a secret locking mechanism hidden in the central design.

This would traditionally of been worn, hung from the waist by the small chain.
