Pair of vintage brass rangoli stamps

A sweet pair of brass rangoli stamps, with a traditional paisley design.

Rice flour or tikka powders would be placed inside the tube and sprinkle through the cutout design as it is ‘stamped’ . 

Rangoli is the traditional folk art of creating colourful patterns and mandalas with sand, chalk powder or rice flour to welcome guests and the Gods into the home.
