Vintage kantha quilt

A uniquely Indian kantha, with a patchwork of colours/fabrics. 

This piece is colourful yet softly faded… difficult to photograph!! 

Very soft, with threads left long on edges. 

A one-of-a-kind, hand stitched kantha quilt made from layers of super soft vintage saris stitched together with a simple running stitch. 

Perfectly imperfect, this beautiful quilt will be different on both sides, and may have patches and repairs that are recognised as part of the vintage authenticity of the piece, not as flaws. 

Collected personally in Jaipur, Rajasthan yet originating from the rural villages outside of Kolkata in Western Bengal.
